10 Years of Netball

This year is our clubs 10th Anniversary.  Over the past 10 years we have under gone several transformations.   These have included the introduction of our club logo, designed by player Kelly Wray, several changes of playing kit which have been paid for by the players themselves through fundraising, the launch and update of our website, several new coaches and a host of managers.  Last year we were awarded our Bronze CAPS by All England Netball.

We have entered many tournaments over the years including Pontins, Chester, Trafford, Parkside, the Nationals, Lincoln, and those who were there will never forget South Shields!   We have competed in the league at Reddish, the Greater Manchester County League as well as the GMNA league at the Velodrome.

Our players have been fortunate to attend training courses in umpiring leading to recognised umpiring qualifications and also shooting master classes being coached by ex England and Thunder player Karen Greig.     Many girls have trialled and been selected to attend the County Netball Academy as well as being selected to represent Stockport, Manchester, Trafford and Tameside boroughs in the Youth Games.
