Presentation Evening 2009Friday 13th November saw Stockport Netball Club celebrate its annual presentation evening at Bigwigs in Audenshaw. Awards were presented to all teams with the Vikings scooping the title of Team of the Year. Phil Thomas received the surprise of his life when he was awarded the prestigious 10th Anniversary Award. Phil received votes from girls and parents across the club which recognised his help and dedication to improving playing standards at the club. County Fixtures
The Vikings will be representing Stockport in the forthcoming U16s County Netball League. The league consists of 8 teams from the county and matches will be played at Belle Vue. At the conclusion of the league, the top three teams will progress onto the Regional League. The eventual winner representing the North West region at the U16 National Clubs Championship.
